Enjoying the Beautiful weather

It's been so nice outside that we've just had to take advantage of it. Going to the park as much as possible! Here are some of the latest pictures that I've taken while there.
Owen just loves swinging!
He's also trying to hard to walk and loves to get down at the park to try there too! He started to take a few steps and then down he went!

Olivia has gotten very brave! She's taken to spinning on the spinning thingy, climbing and jumping off the big rock, or going down the slide every way but the right way! She's cautious whereas Owen has no fear!

We also went to the Flowetown Festival. It was so nice outside. Not too hot and not too chilly. Here's Livi posing as a beautiful flower. Overall we were a little dissappointed in the festival. There just didn't seem to be as many crafts as usual but there were a ton more commercial vendors.

Long Time No Blog

I feel like a horrible blogger. I'm pretty sure as of now I don't have any real followers. But as of now, I'm thinking that's a good thing since I have not posted anything in months. Things have been crazy so I have not blogged in forever. Our laptop crashed in Jan. taking all of our pictures from Oct. to Dec. with it. We haven't had any internet in the house to use our desktop anyways. So right now, I'm making a point to hopefully blog everyday from now on. I want to be able to write down what we're, how we're all feeling, how Nugget and Noodle are changing and growing so that I can look back on it and say, "Ah, I remember when!" To make this a little more possible, I can post from my phone. That should hopefully make things a little easier!

There's so much that has happened in the last 4 months too! We had Christmas and New Years. Noodle turned 6 with a Circus themed birthday! Nugget turned 1 in Feb, hasn't started walking yet but is cutting 6 teeth all at once. Nugget's been on and off of steroids for his horrible eczema. Hubbs went back to TK which has been a great and needed change! And as for me, I'm still staying at home with both the kiddos and enjoying every minute of it. Watching them learn new things, teaching them new things, listening to new words from Nugget and random tidbits from Nood.

Now it's March, almost April and Easter is upon us. Today we joined Nana at her church for Palm Sunday for and Easter Egg Hunt and luncheon. We have Spring Break to look forward too as well as the Egg Drop, a Mini Family Vacay, and a visit from our West Coast cousins!
I will be back to post pics and tell all about it this time, I promise!!

What a great weekend!

We had such a great weekend, a great busy weekend!

It started Friday night with Game Night at Nana's Church. We had so much fun eating grilled cheese sandwiches and soup and playing games. Noodle played Pictureka and Pick up Stix with the other kids and Frank and I got sucked into playing Jenga! The best part was Nugget rolling around in his walker, having a great time entertaining everyone. Well, and Frank actually being off earlier enough to join us and make it a family night!

Saturday, Noodle had a neat birthday party to go to at James Island County park. It was a Neverland party and all the kids cames dressed as their favorite character from Peter Pan. Noodle dressed up in her Tinkerbell costume and had a great time. She got to pelt Capt. Hook (birthday boy's dad all dressed up) with balloon cannonballs that Smee (the granddad) handed out! Birthday boy was Peter Pan himself, his mom was the crocodile and his grandmother was an indian. Instead of presents, each child brought a book to trade with their friends for a new one, which I thought was a great idea. Cuts back on all the unneeded toys one can get as birthday presents!

After the party, we met up with Nana, had lunch with her and got manis! Noodle also got her very first pedicure in the kid-sized chair. She was definitely pampered! While sitting with her feet soakin in the water that changed colors (probably her favorite part), she got to watch Shrek! Her nails and toenails are beautiful now! Noodle was a very busy girl Saturday! After all that, she had her cheerleading sleepover!

Sunday was a great day of just relaxing! We did some eating, some shopping and some sleeping! It was great! We went to brunch at Ruby Tuesday which I have to recommend! We got biscuits, parfaits, our entree and then mini choc. chip cookies. Hubbs and I left there overly stuff but it was so good! Relaxing at the house was a nice change of pace. It was so cute too because Nugget and Hubbs ended up passing out in the bed together. I love my boys!

Well, today's Monday and our great weekend is now over but we have lots to look forward to! Noodle has Feast day tomorrow at school then she's out til next Monday. We have Little gym with Nugget on Wed. and Thanksgiving with our families on Thurs. Noodle also has a big weekend coming up as she's going to see Miley Cyrus with her Sissy (that's what she calls her aunt). Better her than me, that's all I have to say. I feel bad for them because it's in Columbia on the same day as the Clemson/Carolina game! However, I'll be looking forward to watching the Clemson/Carolina game from home while they brave the chaos in Cola! We also have family pictures for Christmas on Sunday so that should be fun!
Hope everyone has a great week!

My first

Well, today is the day I decided to start blogging. Being a stay at home mom, I only have one little person to talk to throughout the day and that's my precious little boy. Seeming that he's only a baby, there's only so much I can talk to him about since he doesn't talk back. I figured this would be a great way to share and vent the happening in my life. I hope that I can find enough things to share about and don't do too much venting!

You may be wondering why I chose to name my blog Together 24. The three most important people in my life and myself all have that number in common. Nugget, my son, was due March 1st but when the doctors decided it would be best for me to have him via c-section when I was 39 weeks, I asked if I could have Feb. 24 since it was in my 39th week and it would make my whold little family all have birthdays on the 24. That makes that we were all born on the 24th of a month. My birthday is July 24, my husband known here as Hubbs, is on Aug. 24; my daughter, Noodle, is on Dec. 24 and Nugget's is Feb. 24. We didn't originally plan it to happen that way but think it's neat that it worked out that way.

Well, that's all for my first blog. I'll be back eventually to share what's going on with me and my family.

Til next time...
