Teachers' Gifts!

Normally I'm the mom that forgets all about Teachers' gifts. Luckily, I have a great grandmother who always remembers them and picks something up. Well, this year, since it was Noodel's last year in this class, I wanted to make sure I got all her teachers something. She goes to a montessori school so she's been in the same class for three years and now she'll be moving from the primary class to the lower elementary class.

I decided that I wanted to make them all something so that it was a little more personal. I made them each a frame, personalized some hand sanitizer and made some clothes pin magnets. I love Mod Podge and everything you can do with it. I also got them each a little basket to stick all the stuff in!

So here are some pictures of what I made. I didn't get a picture of the final present all put together in the basket however!

I just used plain wooden frames that I got for $1 and made them pretty with scrapbook paper, beads and felt. Of course, I used Mod Podge as my glue!

I got these hand sanitizers also for $1 and I'd much rather have personalized ones than plain ones. Again, I used Mod Podge, scrapbook paper and ribbon. I also used the Mod Podge with glitter. My paper was two sided so it gave the sanitizer a pink tint.

These magnets I made with clothes pins, magnet strips and either paper or ribbon. I just attached the paper/ribbon with Mod Podge. The green polka dotted one has a bead that I hot glued on.
